The Opener

The roast was more medium than dark, to my inexpert eye, which was borne out by a flavor just a bit shy of what I was looking for (more of a French Roast, please forgive me for that preference). I loved the aroma and the smoothness was nice, but it is not bold/brash enough. I probably would shoot for espresso roast next time. I loved the hat and of course already had one of the mugs, now I hve three.

My wife and I visited Seattle in late March, and decided to stop into Storyville as we like to try local coffee places instead of big chains. We were blown away by the service and the products. I had the medium roast coffee and my wife had the hot chocolate— she said it was the best hot chocolate that she has ever had! The coffee was phenomenal. Upon returning home I purchased the Prologue to get started!

I’m excited to try my coffee from Storyville. I’ve ordered a grinder and then I’ll be set. The mugs are such a comfortable shape…lite!

I love these coffee cups. As a very cup specific person, this cop is the proper size & weight for me. I found one a few months ago at the Goodwill and recently looked them up and bought four more coffee cups and some coffee. I have not tried the coffee yet, but it was really all about the cups for me. Please do not stop making them. They are so nice. I hate heavy coffee cups and these are just right!
