I have actually done the Storyville Tour in Seattle and have been shipping the K-pods to Los Angeles for the last year or so. They've been delicious, but decided to up my game for my niece and nephew's visit and get this French press. The main thing I didn't like about French Presses is that the coffee got cold before I could finish it. This press solves that problem. It's a must have for any coffee aficionado.

Very Low Quality

I currently have a 48 oz. coffee press but thought I would buy another from Storyville. I mistakenly assumed it would be a quality products given its price. My current 48oz. stainless steel press is nearly 10 years old, still works fine, but I needed a second press for guests. My assumption about Storyville's press was wrong. The Storyville press is unnecessary bulky even for an insulated press, the plunger does't fully depress the grounds, and the filter parts are made of cheap plastic. Storyville's press is disappointingly cheap.

I'm so sorry to hear the press did not meet your standards. Our coffee press is designed a bit bulkier than many standard designs because the double steel wall is intended to protect outside hands from the heat of the brewing coffee, as well as maintain the temperature within. We understand that this style may not be for everyone. However, we sincerely apologize for any issues with the plunger not working properly. That is certainly not the norm.
