I was introduced to Storyville Prologue back in 2018 when visiting Seattle. I fell in love with it immediately and signed up for their subscription. This is my go to for my Monday- Friday coffee. It's perfect to start my day with my breakfast. At first I thought 6 weeks would last till my next delivery. I stuck with it for all this time and realized I needed to adjust my delivery time down to every 4 weeks. Can't wait till my next delivery.

Really delicious coffee! Very smooth and well-balanced, with a rich, creamy mouthfeel. No bitterness or noticeable acidity. It makes an excellent latte and I’ve really enjoyed it.

I tried Storyville Coffee at a friend’s house and was immediately impressed. The beans were incredibly fresh—roasted less than a week ago—and the flavor really stood out. They even included a mug as a nice gift for next order, which was a great touch. The packaging is also very well done. The only downside for me is the shipping fees, but overall I’m excited to try more of their flavors and roasts.

I enjoyed an espresso at Pikes Place the second week of December, and have been hooked ever since. The store was gorgeous and the staff so helpful and kind! I brought a bag of Prologue home with me to Kansas City, little did I know, this would be my everyday brew of choice. It is what I would reccomend to a first time coffee drinker, as some coffee is too bitter and acidic and will turn people away from ALL coffee. I am more than pleased to receive beans by mail roasted 1 week before it ships!! The smell of the beans is heavenly, and the taste is the smoothest yet boldest medium roast. I hope someday to see a lightroast and I love that decaf is offered.
My experience from store to home exceeds expectations and the operators of Storyville should be proud. Thank you for taking pride in service and production.

To be honest, wasn’t sure what to expect out of the beans ordered online. I can tell these beans are fresh and high quality while pulling shots after shots and observing and admiring at the golden rich crema extraction.
The taste is non acidic, full of body, robust flavor of chocolate and hint of caramel. Loved every drop of them!!!

Tried the coffee on a visit to Seattle and loved it. We had tried many different espresso beans in our home espresso maker and weren’t crazy about any of them but really liked the Storyville beans. We have had a subscription delivery to our home in Florida for a year and a half now. They always arrive on time and have delivered a consistently great expression and taste. The quality taste of these beans makes it hard to just have any old coffee from just anywhere, lol! Definitely recommend !

Storyville coffee was introduced by my daughter several years ago and the Storyville Prologue is our goto coffee. I have yet to find a coffee replacement for the prologue.
A good quality daily drinker. This is a blend versus a single origin. The packaging is very high-quality. The coffee does not provide a lot of complexity or depth. It definitely comes to a premium roaster. It’s good to have but will need to have single origin around if looking for something more interesting. The roast is in medium too dark. It does have a little bit of bitter, depending on how you make it. I made it pour over at 205 Fahrenheit. 20 g of beans with 300 g of water. The brew time was about four minutes.
