One of my favorites! Smells so good and tastes amazing delivering a powerful kick. It's one of the only coffees I like brewed and enjoyed black. I do put a teaspoon of great coconut oil and a teaspoon of organic honey in it. Love it!

What started as a visit to Storyville’s Pike Market store in 2019 has turned into a 7 year (so far) love affair with their coffee subscription service, and the company itself. I’ve been getting two bags every 3 weeks with an occasional “skip delivery” when I go away or my daily consumption slows. I’ve only had 1 interaction with their customer service in 7 years when they shipped only 1 bag instead of 2 and it was top notch and handled immediately.
I highly recommend Storyville for delivery of great coffee beans and if you’re ever in Seattle, don’t miss the cinnamon rolls!

I have loved storyville coffee for years - it’s great being able to make my own espresso at home now
After decades of K-cups, then nespresso, I went deep into the espresso rabbit hole… just got machine, grinder, all the crazy accessories, and this coffee which I chose because it seems to have a connection to Bainbridge Island where we recently moved. After 4 lost shots due to grind size I finally made a good shot and tasted it, wow was I surprised, I’m in my 60’s and have been drinking coffee since I was 17. But only now am I really tasting how great coffee can be. Good beans, brewed correctly and suddenly I can actually taste those “notes”. Have made cappuccinos and americanos, delicious for both. I will definitely be ordering more of these.

For the price of over the shelf, you are getting excellent coffee freshly roasted. My only thing is it is too fresh, so I order them a week or two in advance so I let them rest on my shelf. I find Ideal coffee is 12 -30 days from roasted day. I usually get them only 3-4 days into its roast so i would like them to rest for a week. this is a good problem to have :)

From the moment I stepped into Storyville in Seattle I was in love. I’ve been receiving shipments of coffee from Storyville for 7 years without a single hiccup in service. 5 stars doesn’t seem like enough! I started with Prologue and switched to Sunrise as soon as it came out. I pull shots with a Breville Barista Express and I’ve started my day with a Cortado made with Storyville coffee since September 2018. The website makes it easy to manage my shipments when I feel like I need to skip a delivery. Sometimes I take the shipment anyway and share a bag with my friends who have listened to me wax poetic about my beloved Storyville for years.
Now if I could only get some of their Cinnamon buns delivered, my life would be complete, lol.
So far, I've made multiple lattes and a capuccinos with Storyville's Sunrise Espresso. And I've enjoyed every cup. For the last several months, I've explored several roasters and their respective beans. And this Sunrise Espresso is definitely among the top tier. I would buy this again.

Good coffee; disappointing customer service! Promised a mug and demitasse cup with my second order. I called and explained, then sent the text via email, they replied and still missed the point. Even if it was a mistake on my end, I would send a mug even if I lost the customer to make it right. Not strategic thinkers, and now a bad review and I’ll never recommend to anyone else. Too bad, all over a cheap mug… well… and doing what you say you’ll do.

I always purchasing Prologue and thought I would try the Espresso blend. I use it in my drip coffee maker and have really come to like it more than the Prologue. Certainly my tastes have changed over the years as I get older and prefer a more full bodied coffee. This is a good one
